With panoramic views across the Inner Sound to Skye and beyond, Eagle Rock is the ideal spot to hold a small destination wedding or intimate celebration.

Party of up to 24 guests
The house sleeps 14 (16 with the sofa bed), and can be arranged to seat 24 people for a special meal.
However, our wedding parties typically reside at Eagle Rock and hold the ceremony on the deck or in the magnificent skylit dining room, which we clear. Everyone then decamps to the reception at one of the three nearby venues below.

If you are a small party, enjoy a lunch or dinner prepared by our in-house chef, Gerry or your own caterers, overlooking the sea to Skye. We do not cater for groups of over 24 for sit-down events.

Party of over 24 Guests
We would be delighted to serve as a gorgeous base for the wedding party and also to provide the dream indoor or outdoor setting for your ceremony and drinks and canapés afterwards. We prefer not to host receptions, formal meals or parties for groups of over 24. The village hall, only 5-10 minutes’ walk away, has its own kitchen and you can hire and decorate it.

Party of more than 24 guests
Two glorious sea-facing rooms with skylights and magnificent views can seat slightly larger wedding parties of up to 80 guests, and of course our decking has been the site of some spectacular outside events, but with West Coast weather, we always have a Plan B undercover.
The village hall space is also ideal for evening receptions for up to 200 guests.
We are happy to refer you to other nearby additional accommodation for your extra guests.
Please note, April to September inclusive you are required to hire Eagle Rock exclusively on a 5 night minimum stay.

The village hall (5 minute walk away), is our most popular reception venue and has a fully equipped kitchen and great sound-system as well as a playground outside for younger guests!
You can typically gain access the day before to decorate.

Clachan
Recently restored, this exquisite deconsecrated church nestles peacefully in the nearby Applecross bay. “Clachan” means ‘sanctuary’, and the site’s fascinating history dates back several thousand years. The space is stunning and the acoustics are great. It’s a space well worth checking out for the ceremony itself.

Our fantastic new WiFi system means you can live in this remote wilderness, yet remain wired into the world.

The space is ideal for staff getaways or strategy sessions and the tech and WiFi is really fast and good.
We can organise catering and connect you to local activities and specialists.
